Background
For the FIFA 2018 World Cup, Rexona wanted to promote their special edition cans designed like team jerseys to Saudi male football fans. This meant lot of nail-biting tension and perspiration.
In that era of programmatic web banners, we needed to find a solution that would synergise creativity with strategy.
Execution
To make the KSA fans' sweat moments, sweet moments, we launched the “A Can for Every Fan” campaign. We used one banner unit where fans could select their favorite team can to get served customized real-time messages based on live match statistics all-through the tournament.
In total, we used only 1 ad unit in 4 sizes with 60 unique messages, in 2 languages, to create 480 unique banners! We also we grew our Male portfolio by 4% with over SAR 1 Million in can sales during the 2-month campaign.
